Kami LaLonde - Apprentice
Meet Kami! The beauty industry is in her blood - her mother was a makeup artist and Kami’s first job in high school was assisting on-site wedding hair and makeup artists. By 18, she became a makeup artist and always dreamt of becoming a hairstylist. She moved to Bellingham in 2010 to go to Western where she studied Visual Journalism, and started photographing weddings for her friends she was doing makeup for. She spent the next 12 years as highly sought out wedding photographer along the west coast, and moved back to Washington from San Diego in 2023 for the opening of her husband’s first restaurant Good Bagels. Her move home gave her the perfect opportunity to reinvent her life and finally pursue her lifelong dream job of becoming a hairstylist!
When she’s not at the salon, you can find her enjoying small town living in Anacortes with her two rescue dogs, playing pickleball, reading thrillers, and nursing a CrossFit addiction.
